2000 Volkswagen Jetta TDI review from North America
"Afordable Luxury"

Front left wheel bearing needed to be changed.
Headlights burn out quickly.
General comments?
The Jetta is a solid, fun to drive ride. Althought it has it's quirks, I decided to buy a used '00 Jetta TDI having discovered the support I could pick up at TDI.com. The car is fairly quick for a diesel and handles beautifully. It has so much more character than your average Corolla or Civic. I would recommend it, but not if you can't afford to put regular maintenance on your car or if you aren't tolerable to funny car problems. Don't get me wrong, the Jetta has never failed to get me from A to B, but it has its quirks...
