2003 Volkswagen Jetta GLi review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Since the time I bought it brand new the ignition coil started to fail. Dealer has replaced the ignition coils several times and last replacements of all 6 coils was done a week ago, but the car still seems to have this chronic problem. VW dealer in Westlake Village, Calif. promised that they will have the specialist from VW American look at my car to find out why such a repeated and chronic failure of the ignotion coil is taking place, but no one has yet called. Yesterday I got anotherr coil replaced at an expense of $257.00. I have lost all the confidence and repect of the car and do not feel comfortable to drive this car. Instead now I'm using my week car (a Porsche C4) instead. I think those who have expereinced this kind of problem should collectively file a class action lawsuit against VW America.
