1999 Volkswagen Passat review from North America
"All looks no substance!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought a pre-owned 99 Passat. 100 miles after the warranty expired, I had to make a $4,000 repair. The dealer turned their head with indifference, I called the corporate office and they said there was nothing I could do. I made the repair, now a year later the transmission is gone and their asking for $2200 to make the repair. I still owe $2,600 on the car and it's been for sale for 2 months and nobody will touch it!
DON'T BUY VW!!! It's been a nightmare!!!
General comments?
VW's are HORRIBLE! DON'T DO IT!
