2001 Volkswagen Passat LX review from North America
"Great start poor finish"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Noisy sunroof, center glove box latch broken, sterio controls on steering wheel work about 50% of the time, rear exterior light rgt side constantly going out from the 2nd month of ownership, lost its get up and go. It got up and went! The final "Piece de Resistance" both front exterior head lights similtaneously have gone out, only working under the fog light mode.
General comments?
Handles well for a sedan.
Looks Great, get lots of compliments on the color of dash lights.
Comfortable for most sizes of people.
Engine becoming more and more sluggish over time.
Back window shade colapses suddenly when in use.
Avergage gas mileage.
Cup holders are a joke.
No interior storage worth speaking of.
