2001 Volkswagen Passat review from UK and Ireland
"A BEAST"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have had this car for only 2 weeks, and so far the axilary belt needed replacing, so to the tensioner. The jets needed replacing and now the radiator needs replacing. Luckily for me the car is under garage warranty so I am covered.
General comments?
Good sides to this car is: It is a very luxuarious car, with lots of toys to get used to.
Excelleration is manic, you put your foot down and you fly.
People admire this car, often I see people just staring at it.
I put £50 of petrol in the tank, and I don't drive slow, and so far the fuel gauge is not quite half way. Not back for a 2.3L and I have done about 205 miles.
If you want a good looking car, fast and pretty reliable consider the VW Passat V5, it's an amazing drive.
