2002 Volkswagen Polo Match review from UK and Ireland
"Excellent value for money, virtually unnoticeable depreciation, excellent runabout"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This car is excellent! I don't know what all the fuss is about, saying about all the faults.
I have had a few things go wrong, but they are simple fixes.
The ABS light continually on - the ABS sensor connector is located under the rear seats; simply move it out of the way of peoples backsides when they are sitting in the back, and it should correct itself.
The "Boot Lid Open" light continually on - the washer pump had leaked in the boot lid (common problem!). I just cut a bit off the end, and reattached it using a hose clip to secure it. Take out the connector for the boot lid open light, and allow it dry off for a few days, and then it's all good!!
Other than that, I've had the car for 3 years and not a single problem. It can be a bit thirsty, but that's all.
EXCELLENT!!!
