Heater direction problems.
Small screen wash capacity.
Door alignment.
Fairly quick but very thirsty.
High insurance group.
Nice looking and comfortable car.
Very reliable.
I agree with your comments. Had my car (same model) for 2 years and have only ever had very minor issues with it, and so it's been very reliable. Obviously, if anything major goes wrong I'll wish I had a Fiesta because of the potential cost of repair, but fingers crossed until I get my next car!
GOOD POINTS:
Nice chunky good looks with 15in alloys, dragon green colour & very subtle body kit.
Very well built & equipped for an old super-mini (far better than the same generation fiestas/corsas/puntos etc - you get what you pay for I guess).
Great torquey & gutsy little engine.
'Tardis'-like space for such a small car.
BAD POINTS:
Relatively expensive to fix if anything major goes wrong, but spares are plentiful.
Not very good mpg for a small 75bhp car.
Intrusive road noise at high speed/revs - to be expected in small car of this age.
Unfashionable image if you're a petrol-head (and under 50!) but I think it's got a subtle charm to it.
It's just been a trusty runabout for me and done exactly what I expected of it - totally satisfied on that count.
Must admit, I'm currently saving-up for a more powerful car where practicality is not quite so important, but in the meantime, I'll continue to enjoy driving/owning my Polo.
