This car is awesome! it isn't fast, and it doesn't handle that well, but I love it sincerely! I bought the car for £600 and is an absolute minter! it looks like new and there isn't a drop of rust on it. It's great fun on A and back roads. It hasn't got the best acceleration, but is nippy, for the engine's age its good, but cannot compete with modern day power such as zetec 1.25l engine.
Mine came with standard alloys which make handling significantly better, and the usual S' equipment the seats are really good, they are comfortable and make the ride feel a lot more sporty then with standard ones, The coupe' s has also got lowered springs as standard (if you call 10mm lowered!)
In short it is a baby golf GTi with not a lot of go, but an awesome character. you will find it's charachter the moment you thrash it down a back road!
