What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear seats are pretty poor along the seams. The thing don't half vibrate on the rear parcel shelf too! Dashboard feels like it is going to take off as soon as you get over a ton.
General comments?
This car is perfect for the young driver in every case. They have a cool looking car with a set of wheels (BBS's make it look awsome)
When it comes to power.. Meh.. rather poor standard will keep with a saxo 1.1L.
There are a few little bits that make a massive difrence however!
Good old single point injection overhead Cam. why not fit a Carb from a single point 1.6 vw engine that makes them fly! the fastest 1L I have been in! Blows away all the Corsa SXI's and the Punto supercharged Pft... So much fun to drive!
There are other little tweeks you can do before bunking your engine up to a 1.4 for example.
I don't find the brakes too bad on this car at the moment. Keep them in good condition and there good to go. Will be investing in some rear disks off a golf I do think however as I am shortly adding a little more power apparently you can get these going almost 130mph with the right bits and pieces...
