1984 Volkswagen Rabbit GTi review from North America
"SWEET"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The struts are blown. the clutch is thrashed. head liner is falling apart. UphOlstEry is torn.
General comments?
This car is sweet. I used to own an 82 rabbit 1.7l 4 speed, but after time the valves went and the engine was toast. I bought this new gti becaUse 0-60 it can smoke many cars, including civic si. the guy I bought it from was a body man and fixed the rear quater panel and patched the roof after accident. it was put on a frame machine and checked out. he did a lot of sand racing so its somewhat understandable for the struts to be toasted and the clutch! peppy little car!!
