1982 Volkswagen Rabbit L review from North America
"Love them and hope to own one for the rest of my life"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Seats have become warn.
Driver Seat has begun to push through the floor.
Front window leaks.
Rear hatch has become leaky and rotten.
General comments?
In 2001 I put a AEG (2.0ltr) in the car with a hydrolic head.
I also put a 5 speed transmission from a 1984 Jetta in it. A 7A trasmission.
I blew up 10 clutches in 3 years, once the flywheel came of inside the transmission. That one was my fault.
The upgrade is worth it.
