1976 Volkswagen Type II Devon Moonraker review from UK and Ireland
"A wonderful vehicle with heaps of character"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Accelerator cable snapped, indicator switch wore out and the clock has stopped working. Other than the above there has only been the general wear and tear expected of a car of this age.
General comments?
Classic Volkswagen Type 2 vans are great workhorses and very reliable, provided they are maintained and serviced regularly. As the vans are very basic by today's standards there is very little to go wrong so they just run and run.
