1974 Volkswagen Type II review from Australia and New Zealand
"Suits my purposes"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Reverse selector in auto gearbox broke.
Plenty of engine oil leaks.
General comments?
Great for camping, is fitted with a pop-top.
Good on sand work.
Good view of the road.
Will carry a ton.
Springing is comfortable.
Not quick, but keeps up with traffic.
Noisy, but forgiven for all the above.
Would like to learn of suitable diesel motor.
