1989 Volvo 240 review from Australia and New Zealand
"Extremely reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Right hand wheel bearing at 285,000 KM
alternator brushes at 315,000 km.
General comments?
Extremely reliable just travelled 10,000 kms on road holiday Perth to Albury NSW without any problems. I have never had a car so reliable with so many km and it's all original never been touched not even the head. How many cars do you know that can achieved that!! its still running very good doesn't use any oil or water. I am going to keep this car just to see how many more km I can get out of this car. If you're looking for a reliable car, buy a Volvo. I don't care what other people say about Volvo they're bloody great!!
