1987 Volvo 340 GLE review from UK and Ireland
"Not for those who rely on image to replace self confidence"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Thermostat failed at 36,000 miles.
Distributor cap segments burned away at 40,000 miles.
Rusty sill at 45,000 miles.
General comments?
An unusual car, nicely engineered.
Rust spreads quickly once it begins.
Nice interior.
Heated seats particularly appreciated in winter.
Tiny boot!
All in all, a well made, capable, unpretentious little car.
