1991 Volvo 340 GL review from UK and Ireland
"A solid,safe, reliable, honest, cute, car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The lumbar support tension strap has broken several times, on this 340 and my previous one.
The electric windows frequently stick
.The parcel shelves break easily,
The hatchback door just loves to fall,on to your head.
Heavy steering, the tracking goes out easily,
General comments?
Not at all everyones favourite car.
My first 340 saved my life in a high speed head on collision, the car that hit mine was almost destroyed. When my broken bones healed,I searched for a top of the range 340. It is the one I still have.
This car has electric windows, mirrors heated seats, It has faults but I love it.
