1988 Volvo 740 GL review from UK and Ireland
"VERY well designed... great drive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear door lock doesn't work on central locking
fuel gauge reads randomly.
Headlining separated.
General comments?
Drives like a smaller car... all controls are light and precise... fuel consumption 22 mpg round town..34 mpg on run... handles well..brakes feel spongy, but work well... seats very comfortable... VERY easy to work on (mechanical fuel injection)..parts are cheap from specialist supplier... wish id bought one years ago...
