1994 Volvo 940 review from North America
"Well worth the money paid."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Exhaust system twice at 50,000 miles and 110,000 miles.
Front disc brake rotors failed four times. Front rotors have been a problem with Volvos for years.
Cruise control failed after 25,000 miles.
Air conditioner failed after 80,000 miles. Much too expensive to get fixed.
Light that shows outside temperature failed after one year.
General comments?
I purchased the 1994 940 four cylinder Volvo on the premise that it would last for years. I have not been disappointed The four cylinder Volvo engine is as tough as an engine as I have ever had.
