1993 Volvo 940 S review from North America
"Excellent, reliable, and unbelievably comfortable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Starter crapped out at 184k miles, had to replace the O2 sensors. Power window switch failed at 183k a mere 30 dollars to fix. Low idle was apparently an issue with this car causing it to stall unexpectedly, had this repaired immediately.
General comments?
For a car that has almost 200k miles on it, the problems mentioned above are in my opinion very minor. The car has been sitting at the dealer's lot for a good six to seven months before it was driven again. It drives absolutely wonderful and although the acceleration is a little sluggish, the car makes up for its slow start by the time it kicks to second gear. Its not a race car, nor is it intended to be.
