2002 Volvo S60 review from North America
"Safe ride, but not worth the money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission is slipping at 65,000 miles.
Suspension is extremely noisy and rough riding.
Engine throttle module problem, still not corrected after a software download and a cleaning.
Right passenger door doesn't stay locked with the remote or inside power locks.
Seems to be an electronic problem within the stereo system, I can usually hear my acceleration through the speakers along with a whistling noise.
General comments?
I like the heaviness and safety aspects of the Volvo.
However for a $30,000 vehicle I would expect it to be less of a headache.
