2004 Volvo S60 SE D5 review from UK and Ireland
"Not a "drivers" car, but easily takes on the BMW's and Audi's with quality"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing yet, but still releativly new.. will update as time goes on.
General comments?
Carved out of Granite.
Better seats than my armchair.
Excellent performance..I've driven sports cars.. and not talking pure speed here, the engine is simply sweet and effortless to drive with immense (400NM) torque when you need it and held under rein by the superb Dynamic Traction Control system
As already said the turning circle is awfull!
Love's to eat up the miles on Motorways, doesn't like to be pushed on twisty backroads. The gear box again likes to take it's time rather than being pushed. Loads of room up front with many toys to play with..not so in the rear, ok for children, but would be uncomfortable for adults with the sweeping low roof and loack of legroom. The rear legroom has been taken by the immense boot space, and unusual folding rear seats in a saloon provide loads of room for the kitchen sink.
Very nice car.
