Generally an above average car in terms or ride and performance, but what bad with it is its plastic fascia it tends to melt here in the tropics the power window switch melted and destroyed the power window mecahnism.
Another fault is the constant warning light for ABS which the service ctr says there is nothing wrong with ABS
but I love the car.

On your ABS: that tends to be a control unit starting to fail. what happens is that no codes will be posted, then R/R wheel sensor will come up. These units were made in the philippines and there is issue with printed circuit boards in the control unit itself not reparabal except to just install a new ABS control unit hope this helps.
I have just baught 1998 S70 GLT it's an awsome Car, only problem so far I have it's service light get lit when I start the car, but after 2 three minutes it turns off. I hear noise in front suspension. I have to check it out.other than that has very smooth ride. I love driving it.
