1998 Volvo S70 T5 review from North America
"The S70 T5 is a practical performance machine that will comfortably seat five"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have put approximately 6000 miles on the car. There have been absolutely no problems with the car at all.
General comments?
For the price that you can find these cars for they are a huge bargain.
The leather interior is very comfortable especially when going on long road trips with friends.
Performance is awesome with the turbocharged five cylinder along with the rare five speed manual transmission. The T5 has an impressive 0-60 time of 6.4 seconds and a 1/4 mile time of 14.9@96.7 mph.
The factory suspension is fine for the to and from work commute, but if you are a true enthusiast you may want to contact IPD and get one of their Bilstein suspension upgrades.
The factory exhaust is good, but a little restrictive. IPD has a awesome cat-back system that adds 10 horsepower which brings the horsepower to 253.
