Two sets of brakes (including rotors)
Extensive (according to the dealer) transmission work.
Electrical system failures (sunroof, power windows, locks)
VIP program is a battle every time.
Dealer service went down hill after the factory warranty.
I finally gave up and traded it when I took the car in for the 3rd time for the same problem and I had to tell the mechanic how to duplicate the problem (again) and he told me he had no idea what to do except ask me to make another appointment.
Beautiful car, wanted one ever since they first made the S70.
Very comfortable and safe.
Sluggish performance and high maintenance.
Does not live up to what the 80's boxy Volvo's were for reliability and less random maintenance.
Yes I got you, but... S/V 70 gets better performance points than 1.
