2000 Volvo S80 T6 review from North America
"The car is expensive to maintain with myriad problems at least for this model year"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Check engine light routinely illuminated.
Computer malfunctions which took almost 3 months to fix by dealer.
Engine modulator.
Springs and shocks (on all 4 wheels).
Traction control warning light came on
routinely.
Periodic stalling.
General comments?
The car is beautiful to look at and when running properly is very nice.
Dealer did their best to fix problems, but they cannot do it for free. This is the dilemma with this car. Too many problems and expensive to fix.
I no longer have car due to it's myriad problems and expensive maintenance. Some of which a dealer or European car specialist can only do (Shocks for instance).
Dealer Salesman agreed with me on the problems with this model year, but I did not want another one.
