1998 Volvo V40 SE review from UK and Ireland
"Very reliable safe quality car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Drivers seat wore through at 100k
anti roll bar bushings need replacing every 30k, but very cheap to repair
dealer service is too expensive they really don't want to handle the old stuff.
General comments?
This is the most reliable car I have ever owned.
Build quality very good
we travel a lot at weekends so the car has to carry big loads in the boot, the 2 litre is a must. The turbo would be better if you load up the car.
