1999 Volvo V70 GLT review from North America
"We are now in the "Volvo for Life" group!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing so far.
General comments?
We love the traction control, but with a set of brand new tires it's hardly needed.
Suspension is near-sport, this wagon handles like a small sedan. Takes turns swiftly without wiggle or looseness.
The ABS (brakes) work great. Many other Volvos we looked at while searching for the one we bought seemed to have an issue with the module where the light stayed on, but this isn't really an indication there's anything wrong with the car itself. More than likely the owner did the brakes themselves and never took it into a dealership to have the code checked and reset since a brake change would trigger the ABS light to come on. Still, we did avoid these cars because you never really know for sure.
