1998 Volvo V70 review from UK and Ireland
"Excellent"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head gasket went at 100,000 miles /
headlight bulbs blow regularly /
annoying rattle in drivers side door
that I just can't find /
heater blows gives out steam over screen when water is low in engine /
4x4 eats front tires /
back aches on long journeys if lumber support is not right /
ashtray too far down on dashboard.
General comments?
Very impressed with performance especially above 2500 rpm no matter what gear your in /
excellent handling for a big car /
outstanding load carrying capacity /
traction control very affective on ice, but not so good on the field /
very effective braking system / ABS one of the best I've had.
