Engine went bang on the M3 resulting in destroyed timing gear and damaged head. Cost £2,500 to fix. Fault believed to be caused by a faulty variable valve timing mechanism.
Heater mode selection is random.
Eats tyres. Eagle F1s work well.
I'm looking to purchase a 1992 164. It has 40,000 km. Can anyone comment on whether it is a good used car?
