I have a 1995 Olds Aurora and I have been having problems with the trans. It will slam into gear when shifting into reverse. Disconnected the battery and the problem wet away.
Also the car will not shift out of 2nd gear. Check engine light is on and am going to get checked tomorrow. I have heard that it could be the powertrain control module (PCM), solenoids, trans totaly bad or some speed sensor. Does any one have a clue on what it may be?
Other than that the drivers door locks don't work along with the speakers on the drivers side? I guess it may be electrical or something.
Otherwise I am happy with the power and ride quality. If any one has any info on those problems please let me know. Thank you.

- Not necessarily. Go to http://aurorah.proboards47.com/ the top Aurora site on the entire net. They have all the answers
pertaining to Aurora problems there.
Change your ECM first to see if this will fix your problem.
I have a 1995 Aurora and it was doing the same thing.
