I own a 1984 corvette with crossfire injection
and it's a big problem.
It blew the head gasket at 145,000 miles.
No one including the Chevy dealer wants
to look at the car. The car will not idel
and stalls in gear, hesitates and sometimes
backfires thru the intake manifold. I have replaced
all the engine managment sensors. I noticed that
the gas tank gasket leaks some gas, but I'm not sure
if not having a absolute vacume in the gas tank
would cause all my problems. I have also adjusted
the valves to 3/4 turn. Some mechanics say 1/2 turn.
Whats correct?
I'm about ready to sell the car. Any suggestions would
really help. Thanks

Most people scrap the crossfire stuff and drop in a carbed engine/fuel system.
