My water pump went out at 115000 miles. (bad bearing).
Nothing else.
This truck is great! I get 20 miles a gallon on the freeway and around 15 in the city. I don't know what all these people are doing to their trucks that get <12mpg.
This truck is fast. Just last night I was driving home and some teenage kid pulled up next to me in his little tuner car. I blew that kid away in a truck other folks seem to think is a dog.
Comfort? Very comfortable! My Chevy 1500 was never this comfortable. I could sleep in my truck if I was in enough trouble with the wife. I love it, my wife loves it, my daughter loves it, my family and friends think it's great!
Handles very well. I just had an alignment done because it pulled to the right a bit. This truck corners very well! I don't drive gently all the time and it handles it for me when I'm don't. We own 5 acres of land with a house and such in Michigan, which is on a dirt road. This truck handles dirt and gravel like it's brand new pavement.
I haven't pulled anything, but I have hauled stuff. For example I put 1000 miles on it the first weekend I owned it by moving our entire house with only the truck. I also hauled 2000lbs of mulch for my mother (1000lbs per load). The engine had no problem pulling the truck load limit at a half ton. Did very well actually!
That's all I can really think of to say. I'll update this as things come up. Now they need to make a site where I can review my wife's spending habits... hahaha...
I agree I had a 98 Dodge Ram, mine was the sport, but it was loaded with everything. It was as you say very comfortable and fast. I was, however, one of the people who got less than 12 miles to the gallon. It is the one vehicle I still wish I had.
