When we purchased the car the unlock button on the driver's side would not work. About 7 months later there was a pop sound on the passenger side rear window and the power window would not go up. About 4 months later the driver's window will only go up about 4 inches and then it stops as if it is all the way up. There was no unusual sound then window was just rolled down and then would not go back up.
The car drives well and gets very good gas mileage and we enjoy it other than having to repair power windows. We have had other cars with power windows, but never had a power window to fail prior to owning our 2001 Buick La sabre.
I too agree that my car has been a good driving car, except that the original transmission has been replaced at 40,000 miles, the passenger side window has been repaired at a very high price, but my money replaced. Now, today I heard that popping sound, and now my passenger side rear window will not go up.
