2007 Mazda CX-9 Touring from North America - Comments

None, I have only owned the car for 4 months. I will update as time and mileage go by.

The car is as advertised. The only thing that I am surprised about so far is the poor gas mileage. I am only averaging about 13 miles per gallon in mixed driving. I guess it will get better as time goes along. Even if it doesn't, as long as the car is reliable like my last car, I will be happy.

I recently took the car in for the first service to a different dealer which is closer to my home. They were very nice and answered all of my questions. I hope that the experience continues over the long haul.

This is an update to my initial review. I took it in because my drivers side mirror had a stress crack on the glass. This happened when I used the heated function on the mirror. This dealer was skeptical of what I told him when it happened. He thought that somebody or I broke the mirror. I called him that Saturday morning when it happened and took it to him right away. Once the technician realized that it was indeed a crack. He thought it was dirt. He told the service manager that it was a defect. The part was ordered and a week later I took it back to the dealer. Since I had to go on jury duty. These people figured that they can stick my father with a charge for the replacement thinking that I would not have my cellphone on at court. Well to make a long story short, my dad phoned me and I told the manager of the dealer the story and my dad took the car without having to pay. I just hope that I don't have any other issues with this car since I experienced this attempt at them trying to extract money for us for something that was covered under the new car warranty. The mileage is about 6800 now.

This car is amazing... I had Honda and Toyota before, and Mazda surprised me with a smooth drive, power and fun to drive.. I have a CX9 GRAND TOURING and I am very happy...

I am the original poster. Keep me updated on how your grand touring is doing. I will update this week. So far everything is going well. I have the touring model with the bose system and sunroof package.
