"Invinceble"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing Serious

The Steering wheel plastic Dry rotted away in spots with a steering wheel cover you would never know.

Converted to 134a from R12 recently.

Re-rotored rear-drum breaks, previously leaked.

And standard mantaince.

General comments?

Mega Indestructible Land Yacht HO!

Lots of fun to drive, but its 5.7L (350 cbi) engine it quite under powered for a v8, but I guess I'm just used to Big block V8's, Nothing like the 442

Great Cruiser and daily driver.

Lots of get up and go.

Oldsmobile is famous for its legendary interiors and this beauty is no exception.

Most comfortable drivers seat you could ever hope for.

This reviewer "re-rotored" his drum brakes because they were leaky?

Fluid filled rotors in drum brakes, no wonder Oldsmobile went away...

You went from a 442 to this hulk? That's quite a comedown.

Perhaps not... maybe it was one of those fwd Calais "442" models from the '90's.

Betcha didn't know that "442" really stands for: 4 cylinders, 4 valves per cylinder and 2 camshafts, did you?

Well, now you do.
