Battery had to be replaced.
Tension pully went bad once
brake line broke due to rust, but what do you expect for a 11 year old car
cats replaced and muffler... just now.
So far the car has been very reliable, as long as you take care of the car you won't have many problems. tranny sifts good and motor still runs strong, don't know why many people complain about their... guess they don't know what maintenance for a vehicle is .
I had a 1998 Taurus, and I did keep up with the maintenance of the car. Now at one point, I was taking the car in at least once a month to get something fixed. Fortunately, it was little stupid stuff, but repairs like that do add up quickly. I was taking the car in 2x's a year to get the brakes serviced. So I think a lot of people are servicing their Tauruses, but when it's a bad car to begin with, then who's to blame, the person who bought the car? NO! Maybe its Ford for making stupid cars. Thank God I got rid of mine before I had to put any more money into it.:)
