"Overall a mediocre choice"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Driver lumbar support broke

Gas gauge has read empty for a long time. Too expensive to fix.

General comments?

The TB is a very average midsize truck based SUV. I feel like I am driving a vintage car when I am driving it because most SUVS are car based and much more comfortable. This car is just not comfortable on long trips. I am over 6 feet tall and the ergonomics of putting the chair back enough so I can fit and then being able to comfortably reach the steering wheel wasn't thought out all that well. The transmission is sloppy, needs another gear and the engine is coarse. But then again, this car has been relatively unchanged for 6 years. I am glad that Chevy will be getting the new Car based SUV called the Traverse in a year or so.

The interior also feels cheap. I still don't understand why GM makes relatively good cars yet ALWAYS skimps out on the interior. This has changed thanks to new GM management with good products like the new Malibu which has a great interior and the new CTS.

That said, the heater is great, and the computer functions are pretty good. I also like the auto climate control because it is easy to use.
