General comments?

I love driving this car. The paddle shifters are great and add fun to the car, but let you drive it in "automatic" when you are in traffic.

This car has had more trouble than I thought possible. Either Mazda has some serious design issues with this car, or my dealership's mechanics need some training.

Don't park under trees. The drains clog very easily.

The Mazda MX-5 never had paddle shifters. What car are you driving?

The MX-5 in the USA is available with an automatic transmission and paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

In Europe Mazda imports only the manual transmission versions, which is rather sad because automatic transmission is so much more relaxing to drive.

Paddle shifters were not available on the 2005 MX5, in any country.
