Nothing has gone wrong so far.
I knew that this was a good car, because I tried out several other models before purchasing f. x Skoda Octavia, Vw Passat, Opel Zafira, Mazda6&5,Peugeot 307sw, Kia c`eed sw and so on...
The Avensis is a very reliable car, and the Toyota dealers is known for top service here in Norway, and that is important for us.
The things I love most about the car is:
its very comfortable and quiet
good design in my opinion
a very smooth, quiet and strong engine
6speed gearbox
interior quality in general
good safety (5stars)
Fuel economy is not the best compared to a vw,
and the radio could be better.
My 2007 2.2 D4Dcat wd 177cv is a surprising car. Now wd 35 000 km I only can say that he "run fast and eats too much..".Toyota is not a leader in this category but it could be in future if some details be rectified. If somebody wants a quiet, comfortable, cheap maintenance, space, lots of gadgets, reliable car is that one. Ah.. Whatch the tires... mines (4) died at 25 000km.
