When I bought it I didn't run.
I had to rebuild the carburetor.
The headliner is falling off.
The passenger seat belt receiver won't stay up.
The T-Tops leak.
It leaks coolant somewhere into the block.
A tear in the drivers seat.
A wire shorted out the starter.
The car is very comfortable; lots of room.
Enough space for you and 4 friends.
Turns on a dime.
A real head turner.
I get offers to sell it all the time.
It's decently quick.
I got a kick out of this review. It reminded me of a 1985 Monte Carlo that was given to my nephew. His friend was moving and didn't want the car. It had 200,000 miles on it and had been horribly abused. The brakes had been out for several months and he had been stopping it by slamming the transmission into park!! He hadn't done an oil change in years and the plugs were so old the electrode had burned off one. The car was missing on 2 cylinders when my nephew got it. After cleaning it up, fixing the brakes, tuning it up and changing all the fluids he had a great running car that he used for another two years with no problems.
After reading this I shudder to think of the condition of the Firebird you also own...
