2001 Pontiac Aztek from North America - Comments

-lower intake manifold and gasket

-two heads and head gasket

-Modual in my car computer

-Rear hatch not opening

-burns oil bad

-front lights

-rear lights

-power steering

-roaders warped

-coolant leaks.

Well what havn't I replaced in this car. At first it was little things like my head and tail lights going, then my car was over heating and my step dad replaced my thermistate and burped my car! and all was good except my electric in my car. well then its started it all over again. not even a block away my car is saying its over heating, cold air comeing out of my vents when I have it on hot. all the coolant in my over flow tank, the thermistate is closed! my electical in my car is acting like its got demands in it, my rear hatch won't open with the key and barley with the button inside of my car and last summer my Ac went out. so I take it in. $1500 for recharge my Ac, fix my lower intake manifold gasket and my modual in my car, so I go to pick it up and don't even get around the block and its doing it all again, but to top it off my service engine light is now on. $1800 now for them to pull my engine and look at my head gaskets. two weeks to today, my car is still in there, my Two head gaskets are gone and have to be replaced at least $1000 for each. now hoping theres no futher damage! I would recommend anyone looking for a car, don't get this one. I haven't even had this car a year and I have put more money into it then its worth, its my first car and made a bad pick, I still have no car because its going on almost a month for this to get done!!!

My Aztec is doing the same thing. Replaced the intake gasket just 4 months ago. Could you let me know if the head gaskets solved the problem, because I have been told it could be all sorts of things. My email is bjstickel@embarqmail.com. Thank you.

I have a 2001 Aztek 3.4 where the engine over heated and blew. My question is where can I get a motor for this car? The car still looks great, it just needs a motor...
