"Power at its best, very fast and that's the truth"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I bought the car back in November 2000 and have had to replace an alternator and battery, and that's it...

General comments?

This car is fast, plain and simple. When I had it was completely standard, and I got about 107mph out of it.

Now I have had the red stripe taken off, it's just black and looks good. I bought some new alloys, 5 stud 195/45, they were tough to get a hold of, but it handles a lot, lot better now.

I put on a Pipercross induction kit, and I have got 115mph out of it. Pipercross gives better bhp than K+N.

Future plans: G Max shocks, having it lowered and a Magnex full system and superchip. I'm looking at 120mph plus, wow that's scary.

The car looks good, turns heads and I love it. Beats any other Nova, Fiesta etc. Turbos will beat it just by a fragment of the mark, but it will soon catch up the booooom.

Any other mods you know, contact me on: Indy316@excite.com

Sounds very true.. my GT will crucify Nova's and eat VTR's - I love it.. Saxo VTR £6000/AX GT £800 hehe..

I don't think it was the pipercross filter that gave you the extra speed, it was probably due to the weight loss after taking the red stripes off the side. But seriously as for other mods, with the extra power, I would consider some drilled and grooved discs with fast road pads as these could save on scary late brakeing moments.
