Right front suspension ball joint creaking at 8000.
Passenger side head light bulb burnt out at 32000.
Drivers side bulb had badly corroded connector at
51000...
Nothing else so far.
I heard some people complain about availability of tire size for the Aveo. I have had no such problems finding the size. I had plenty of time to find them, since the original tires were still
quite acceptable at 52000 miles.. which is amazing!
$7,800 is an amazng price for a new car. You do realize that you will have spent more on gasoline than on what you paid for the car at about 60,000 miles! That's assuming you average 30.7 mpg overall in careful driving and pay $4.00 a gallon for fuel. That's.13 cents per mile for gas x 60,000 miles = $7800.
Your total purchase and running costs are the same as JUST the gas for a $40,000 Blazer or Suburban.
Add in insurance and taxes and tags (which you have to pay no matter what you drive) plus that you should have very little maintenance by 60,000 miles and you can walk away with your finances intact! Even with the depreciation hit on trade-in time for another Aveo.
Wow!!
