"Underrated beast"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Hole in the radiator (17 years old, what do ya expect?)

General comments?

Best car ever, engine is a bit sluggish but a good set of exractors and a big carby sure make it a powerful engine (up to 200bhp fully modded). I have yet to drive a car that can corner as fast as this (sports cars excluded).

Best thing to do to this car is rip out the old carby motor, shoehorn in a Jap import SR20DET 2 litre twincam turbo EFI and enjoy an instant 230+ Horsepower. These engines REALLY make the TRX into a very sleepy looking weapon of a car. 0-100km/h in around 6 seconds puts it up there with Porsches and other well known brand sports cars. Well worth doing the conversion on such a capable car!

Hurry up someone and put that Turbo SR20DET engine in that TRX, I wanna see some performance stats.!!!

Does the SR20DE bolt straight in???

Iwould just like to inform every one that I am in the process of putting a 13B Rotary engine into my 85 series 3 TRX and will keep every one informed on its process. The only issuse at pressent is the 2 piece tailshaft, but keep an eye out for it very soon. From NIS13B.

I previously own a rusty 84 Nissan trx, but was happy to relize I could place a new japan turbo engine conversion in it like the sweet sr 20 det. So I'm gonna rip out the motor turn her into a sleeper that kicks ass and pleases all fast four enthusiasts. will keep informed long term project unsure of conversion requirements and specifications.
