"A fast, fun and good looking"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Cracked manifold (recall).

Brakes squealing.

Battery/voltage gauge moves up and down repeatedly while the car is stopped and running. Still don't know what that is.

Hinges on the door needed to be replaced (recall).

Cooling system needs to be replaced (recall).

General comments?

This car is fast and sporty looking, however it is not too good in the snow or rain because it is rear wheel drive.

Good summer car.

Sun roof is a plus.

I am the original owner of the 1996 Thunderbird and I have 147K miles on my 4.8L LX Thunderbird.

Yes the issues posted : Door Hinge, AC unit replaced a few years ago, and now the Manifold is leaking are confirmed. I am calling Ford this am to see if there is a recall on the plastic manifold or not. I burn 1 qt of oil every 3Kmiles and the car runs great, Not a rust spot on the car. The plastic trim is faded, but for Florida sun not bad.

The car has been great and even though I lay out some money every so often it beats having car payments every month
