I have made some modifications to my 2000 Sephia and I am fairly happy with the outcome. The car is a little sluggish in 1st gear - but after that it's gone. I would like for it to be a little quicker. And it is very hard to find after-market products for Kias, most of it has to be custom made. Other than that I am very pleased with its performance.
The car could use a little bit more room
in the back because no one can sit behind the driver's seat when I'm driving.
Considering everything, I can say that this is a great car.
I would also like to add that I don't think Kia's have the recognition they they should in the world of imports. Everyone I tell about my car are like, you must be kidding, a Kia, don't even bother with it.
Lady, so far you have been blessed. Don't keep your hopes up though. The car is a peice of crap. It won't be long for you and I promise you will change you mind set on this.
The KIA Sephia is a good car and has a good indoor space, and has a good motor. I don't think a Toyota or Honda are very good cars; the Kias are so good like a MAZDA.
This is a great car people, I have no trouble with mine!
From about 2001 and on with Kia products like the Optima has been improving their quality so much that today in 2005 they are setting sales gains all over the world and receiving deserved praise by reviewers and owners. I own a 2002 Optima and it is the best car I have owned and I have owned Toyotas mostly and a few crappy American cars. I will be buying another Kia Optima in 2006.
