Got the car in 1999. Goes as fast as hell, and accelerates like a bull with a rocket up its ass. Steering is crap, but nobody's perfect. Does good burnouts. Handles "well" in the wet. Kicks the ass off any Commodore.
Bad story. We were bush bashin' outside of Jurien Bay when it was raining one day. Me and my mates were seriously slammin' the crap outta this car. On the way back, we came sliding around this corner, and a flash flood had flushed through a dry creek bed. It would have been about 7 feet deep. We drove side on into it, and sunk sideways under the crappy muddy water. Got a tow truck to pull it out, although it was all full of water and crap. Took it to the wreckers.
How much did a 2.6 turbo cost you? I'm interested to do this to my 2.6 NA engine.
