Moulding on rear tailgate came loose the first week I owned it. Since I own a carwash, I wash my vehicles several times a week, and I knew the mldg. would come off during washing, so it needed to be repaired quickly, and my dealer Wm F. Diebert trks in Allentown, Pa. came through immediately.
This is my third Jimmy I have owned, and by far the ride is the best yet! Comfort is really good. My wife and I usually use it to go out evenings.
I just bought a 98 jimmy and loving it. I have the convenience of a car and truck combine together.
I have owned my 1998 Jimmy for 4 years and it has been a great vehicle up to now. I have now learned it is not for traveling on country roads, the lesson cost me $550.00 to replace a multi-function switch on the steering column. This is extremely disappointing performance from an SUV! Just one washboard country road and the swicth goes out, this is unacceptable performance! I will think twice before purchasing another SUV from GMC.
