1981 Ford Falcon GL from Australia and New Zealand - Comments

"She's done lots of kilometers, but doesn't show it!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Cross-threaded spark-plugs.

Had to replace the clutch.

Had to replace the carburettor (the power bypass valve went on me).

General comments?

This Falcon wagon is really good value for money. The rear suspension setup lets you down going through bumpy corners, but for one of the first examples of an Alloy Crossflow six, this Falcon really shines.

Just bought an old XF with 328000 on the clock, so your comments are very reassuring. Owned an XB previously and I had to off load it while it was still running. It would not die.

I'm expecting another 300000 out of it. Lets see.
