When I first bought this car the distributor cap busted and cost around 1000 dollars to get fixed (including other minor details).
This car is a nice first car especially for a 16 year old. I would recommend it to anybody who can't afford a luxury car, but this car is a luxury car. The interior is great and the top speed is 120 mph.
Yes, 1994 Nissan Altima distributor problem caused
my car engine stopped on the highway. Power steering
is gone, brake is gone. Had to use hand brake to
avoid a collision. The fix for this, $1250. So I almost
have the same situation as you had.
How many miles did the car have when needing a new distributor cap? I'm thinking of trading my 1994 Ford Ranger (which runs nicely) for a 1994 Nissan Altima GXE and I've heard rave reviews, but I sure can't afford $1200 to fix an old car.
